Aylar Haghi

She was from Malekan and living in Tabriz, studying medical science.

She lost her life when a security agent fired a shotgun aimed at the back of her head.

The Islamic regime declared that she died due to “falling from the roof”.

Aylar`s uncle denied the regime`s narrative, asserting she was shot from behind.

 Aylar`s body was buried in Tabriz, surrounded by a people gathering on 18 November.

The regime forces attacked the funeral, shooting and deploying tear gas. Several attendees were arrested.

Three days later a protest march was held at Tabriz Medical Science University.

Her hometown, Malekan, went on a general strike despite the government's harsh surveillance following the incident.
