Hadees Najafi

Hadees , 23, was full of life.

She was fatally shot six times in the face, neck, and chest on 21 September in Karaj.

She was buried in Karaj on 23 October under heavy surveillance and pressure by the security forces.

Officials made her family tell she died due to "natural causes".

Her mother, however, said “my daughter was killed because she was protesting the murder of Mahsa Amini and the compulsory hijab… we are not with the regime. We don’t remain silent. We are mourning”.

Despite the regime agents obstructing the way to her resting place, the public gathering for Hadees`s Chehlom around her resting place was immense.

The regime agents attacked the attendees, arrested several, and killed some including Mehran Shekari and Mahdi Hazrati.
