Koumar Daroftadeh

Koomar Daroftadeh, 16 years old

He was killed by IRGC ground forces on October 29, in Piranshahr, West Azerbaijan Province.

He was shot to death from a close distance of less than three meters (10 feet).

Koomar’s last post on Instagram, read "Love freedom above all”. 

At Koomar’s funeral, his father stated: "I am happy that at least he died for freedom and his country”.

The security guards invaded Koomar’s house on November 3 and arrested his father for seeking justice for his son. Since the beginning of the mass uprising in Iran, the security guards have killed dozens of children like Koomar.
