This compilation of selected Tavaana case studies examines the use of technology in civic movements worldwide. These exclusive Tavaana case studies are designed to offer an Iranian audience concise but comprehensive introductions to pioneers in the use of technology for civic activism. Case studies included here explore the Egyptian blogger Wael Abbas’s work and the “We Are All Majid!” online campaign against the repressive policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran, exposing human rights abuses and police misconduct.
